I thought it would be fun to share with you a couple of the tools I use on a daily basis when evaluating properties. Most of you know Zillow, but it's nice to have another couple of sites to use for this purpose. I love Zestimate and Rent Zestimates on Zillow, as well as the Price History.
One of the best sayings I've heard about house value is that "a house is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay." Truth!
Have you ever tried the Chase Home Value Estimator? Here, I'll share the link...
Chase has this estimator on the site so that customers who are considering a HELOC can get a good idea of what their home's value is, before applying.
Redfin is another good real estate website for evaluating properties, however it is not in Savannah yet. I have used it when evaluating properties out west. I bought a house in Prineville, Oregon and fixed it up from across the country. I never saw the house and have never been in Oregon. Maybe one day!
I also use HomeSnap, and especially love it when I am out and about. You can take a photo of a house and HomeSnap pulls up information about it.
Well, happy house hunting or house selling, or real estate investing, whatever you might be working on at the moment!
