Some people think they may have trouble selling their home because of liens on their property. Whether it is a contractor's lien, a tax lien, or any other type of lien, we have probably dealt with it before, so don't worry.

We recently bought a house with a spousal support lien. The homeowners said they were unaware of the lien. We were able to negotiate the lien and proceed to closing as usual. It took a bit of extra time, but it was not a deal-killer. This particular property was not in Savannah, but we were able to talk to the title company and the previous spouse and spouse's attorney who had placed the lien on the house, and get it all straightened out.
