In many situations, a Realtor will be your best bet when selling your home. However, there are things that your Realtor may want you to fix up before you sell. Your Realtor will want the home to be spotless, and you should be ready to leave your home at a moment's notice, when a last-minute showing has been promised. And of course, you will have to pay a Realtor commission, typically 6% of the sales price.


Under certain circumstances, though, you may decide not to sell with a Realtor. Sometimes people need a quick sale, without the requirements of showings, home inspections, appraisals, and the like.
